I'm searching for any info on a Isacc Shelton,Habersham Co. Ga. Confederacy,Co. K. 65th.Infantry Regiment,died 19 Feb. 1865,Camp Chase,Columbus,Ohio.American Civil War.
Is there anyone there that may have this Isaac Shelton in their family history?
I am trying to find out about my g.grandfather Isacc Shelton from Habersham Co. Ga. He was or had been married & had children Benjamin J, William M. & Margaret Shelton.
I was told that his wife was either Mary Or Sary Canupp.
If anyone knows anything about this family i would be so ever greatful to hear from you.
I do not know when Isacc was born but Ben J. was born abt. 1861? William M.1864?Margaret 1865.
All the kids married in Sevier Co. Tn.
Ben J. to Julia Thomas
Margaret to William Henry Dunlap
William M.to Margaret Wolfe.
