Sorry but you may want to do some research in English records.Whitakers "genealogy" has been largely discounted by many researchers now. She had no citatation and made many many many errors that have been disproved. For example, the Sir Ralph Shelton who died at the Isle of Rhe has been proven in Norwich wills to have died w/o any issue and his estate passed to his half-brother Henry.If you check out a few of the Shelton Rootsweb mail lists you will find virtually no one believes the Whitaker fairy tale any more.There is no chance that the Sheltons of America and absolutely no primary data of any kind that they descend from Shelton of Norfolk past the line of Sir John Shelton.If you have primary data from actual records, myself and about 3000 other researchers would love to hear it.
