I am a 5th Generation SCHELL born in Montgomery Co., OH. My 5th G Grandfather was John Henry SCHELL m. Margaret Elizabeth LESHER/LOWSCHER/LOSCHER who migrated to Miami Twp., Montgomery Co., OH between 1820-1825 from Berks Co., PA.

The line goes...
John Henry SCHELL 1778-1845
Jonathan S SCHELL 1810-1897
David Peter SCHELL 1850-1927
George Alfred SCHELL 1886-1968
Emerson DeWitt SCHELL 1917-1973

Most of my research has been done in Montgomery Co., Ohio. I'm especially interested in any SCHELL's that married GEBHART's, KREITZER's, LEISS's or PEFFLY's.

I'm also interested in connections with other SCHELL/SHELL Families in the SW Ohio area that may not be part of this line. I currently have a handful of these "other" SCHELL/SHELL's that come into other parts of my file and I'm looking for their common link.

Anyone connected to the SCHELL/SHELL family in or around Montgomery County Ohio, please contact me and we'll see if we can match up some of our information.
