The Sheldon Magazine, long out of print, shows an Apphia Sheldon (Sheldon Number S205x1) b. 1744, m. Uriah Loomis in Windsor, CT. Her father was Phineas Sheldon and her gfather was S#46 Jonathan Sheldon. Jonathan Sheldon's house still stands on Sheldon Street in West Suffield, CT. Phineas Sheldon's house is still standing on South Stone Street, and went to his son, David.

The Sheldon Family Association has lots of information on Sheldons in the Windsor area. (I am also a descendant of Jonathan.)Please write to our genealogist (he does not have email):
