My great grandmother was Nellie L. Sheldon. I have her death record and lists Charles E. Sheldon and Margaret Hagerman as her parents.
I found Charles and Margaret's marriage record. He was at the age of 24, abt 1859 in Michigan and she was 15, abt 1868, also in Michigan, married on 16 Oct 1883 at Eveline, Charlevoix, Michigan. Does not list either parents.
It appears that Charles married more than twice. There seems to be a connection to Taylor County, Michigan as I found the 1860 US Census in Taylor, Wayne, Michigan.
His parents appears to be Irvin Ervin Sheldon and Sally Ann Barns.
Irvin's parents appears to be Frederick Sheldon and Sarah Hill. But this is where I have no real solid proof of them connecting.
