Looking for Parents and Ancestors of William SHELDON, born abt 1822 or 1823 in either NY or RI who married Sally PENDLETON, born 6 Dec 1822 in New Berlin, Chenango Co, NY. William had a son Marvin G. or George M. SHELDON, born 28 Apr 1845 in Cherry Creek, Chautauqua Co, NY. This son may not have been the child of Sally, as the 1850 Census shows William living with a different family, divorced with a 7 year old son named Marvin. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Will gladly exchange information.
