I believe that your Sheldon one and Sheldon two are one and the same person, Allen Sheldon. The family appears to have been listed twice by different 1850 census takers,
once in Warren County, again in Washington County.
S# 2536 Nathan Sheldon 1772-1858 m. Eleanor Van Loner.
He is shown as the son of S#860 George.
Thus your lineage is known back to your progenitor.
Again: just wait a bit.
