On June 27th 2009 we will have a dedication of General Jo Shelby's Lifesized statue of him on his horse in his claimed home town of Waverly, Missouri. So far we have five Shelby families commited to attend this special occasion. There will be re-enactors, lots of Food good ole southern singing and a tallent show. We are planning on the Governor of Kentucky to give the Key-note speach and this will be attended by all local,county, state and federal government officials attending. E-Mail me for Motels, programs and anything that I might answer for you. This will be our third SHELBY DAYS festival and we are expecting a blow-out with a B-2 Bomber fly over and a large fire works display over the Missouri River. Don't miss a lifetime experience.
