U am confused. Is Catherine Morgan the same person as Catherine Davis (Davies). Was she the first wife of Evan Shelby from Wales? Where can I find the complete lineage for Evan Shelby (the original Evan)? I found this info once but can't seem to locate where I found it the Sea of Shelbys!
Also does anyone know if John Lafayette Shelby of Soquel, CA married to Ann J Hinckley who was one of the sons of Alfred Moore Shelby and Alvira (Elvira) Reed (Reid) is the same John Lafayette Shelby who was charged with killing another man in a bar room brawl in Mississippi? I read that he disappeared and no one seemed to know where he was. There is also a John L Shelby Attorney listed in Santa Cruz (which is very near Soquel). He was married to a Mary H Bowman (first husband's name). Her two boys also lived with them. Is he related to John L Shelby of Soquel?
