Hi Anita, I would like to know if you have a Minnie or Minta Shehan or Shehand in this family. She was born about 1873 and married James G. Forester in 1891. Her only known relative is Robert Shehan, a brother, he married Mary Cooper and lived in Rutherfordton. I suspect her parents are Pinkney and Mahulda Shehan, they lived very close to her in the 1900 census. But I show that they had daughters named Mary and Margaret who were not quite the right age to be Minta. Pinkney's father was Soloman Shehan. Is Soloman one of the children of Morris?
