In the 1850 McDowell Co, NC census is #205, Edward Shehan, age 41, farmer, born in SC with Rebecca, 38, NC; Nancey, 18, NC; Andrew, 16, NC; Matilda, 14, NC; William, 12, NC; Teener, 9, NC; Edward, 7, NC; Sarah, 2, NC.
This family is the only Shehan family with a son Andrew in this census.
This is all the info I have on this family and I don't even know if Andrew's brother William is the one I'm looking for.
If you ever find out, please let me know.
