Sidney Sheffer - Green Bay, WI

I came to this forum to help anyone trying to find "Sidney Sheffer" (DOB: circa 1876). This is a little confusing, but when I was trying to locate my Great Grandfather "Ross Shiffer" I finally found him under the spelling "Schiffer" which was a spelling error by the census taker in the 1900 census, and when I located his father in the 1880 census "Henry A. Shiffer" I saw that Ross was one of three children: Ernest, Ross and Sidney.
Now this is where it gets interesting. My father "Donald Shiffer" told me about his uncle "Sid" who changed his name to "Sheffer" and moved to Green Bay, WI, I heard him tell the story a number of times during my life. "Sidney Sheffer" must have been my father's Great Uncle because his father's only brother was named "Clarence".
I am quite sure about all of this information and if this helps anyone and you need further clarification of names and dates, please email me and I will be happy to contact you to discuss the particulars.
