Hello: Unfortunately I am not familiar with Thomas Sheepwash, but my Great Grandmother was Mary Ann Sheepwash and she married Robert Thomas Joy. They are supposed to be from Sheerness. I have Mary Ann's birthdate as Dec. 25, 1836 and she died in Ontario, Canada on Nov. 25, 1920.

My Great Grandparents, along with all of their children, emigrated to Ontario, Canada sometime before 1888. They lived in South River, Ontario.

Have you ever heard of Mary Ann?

Actually, I am so very pleased to have seen your posting, as I have never seen the name of Sheepwash before, and really wondered if it might have been a mistake.

Have you ever found any of your people on a Census? I have the 1851 and 1881 British Census, but have not found my people at all.

Thank you.

Georgi Sills
