I think William had a younger sister named Margaret. Alexander Dunlavy was the administrator of the estate of John Sheely (died 1847) and he was appointed guardian of his minor daughter, Margaret. Margaret married Caleb Benson in Colorado County on April 06, 1856. She died in Kerr County, Texas, on May 12, 1915 and is buried in the Conn Cemetery there. Margaret was born June 15, 1835 in Alabama. I am interested in this family because Alexander Dunlavy was married to Elizabeth Suggs. John Suggs, Elizabeth's brother was also involved in the estate proceedings. John and Elizabeth's mother was named Margaret and I would like to know if Margaret Sheely was their niece.
