Thanks for the response Betty. I think I have found some info thus far. My family can be traced to a John and Ellen (Carey)Sheedy I believe. I am not 100% yet, but the info looks good. They were from Ireland, and had 10 children.

Patrick, was my great-great grandfather, moved to IL:USA around his later 20's. Married a Margaret Marrow. They had my great grandfather, Frank Sheedy. Frank married Catherine Nagle, they have my Grandfather Virgil (father Don, then me). I did leave out a lot of people, but you get the idea. Thanks for your information.
