It's nice to know someone else has Sheaves from Fayette County WV cause the sheaves on my family tree are from WV but I can't seem to find much info but this is some of it. My great Grandparents were Harry Sheaves and Nancy ( Woods ) Sheaves don't have dates on Harry but Nancy was born onMarch 15, 1896 and died in 1968. Their daughter my granny is Alma Mae Sheaves she was born Sept. 26, 1919 and had a twin brother named Elmer Sheaves who dieid in 1990,the other brothers and sisters were Chester Sheaves, Harry Sheaves, Roxie Sheaves( she married Calvin Bennett and I'm told they had about 18 children), Earl Sheaves, and I think a Helen Sheaves.Other surnames are Newton, Bowles, Willis, Rapp, Bolt, Davis and Layne. If you by chance know any of these names please email me I've been working on my family tree for over a year and Sheaves seems to always be the hardest to find info on, Hope someone out there might Know someone I've listed .
