Still living Shears in Astubula Co, Ohio. They migrated up from WV, I beleieve, about 1860s.Go to ancestry.com, and look for Ohio State genweb. Look for Ohio Counties clickable map. My Shears came from Greenbriar WV, about 1830s, to So. Ohio. Other Shears families were with them, and went North. Mine went to Chillicothe, Ohio, then Greene Co, Ohio.
