I would be glad to give you some Info on the Shears family in Nfld. If you are related to Roddy or a bunch of others I am the grandson of Belman and son of Locksley. They would know! Getting up the north shore was very trickey and I'm only 50. Pop and Nan took a ferry from Corner Brook in 1962 or 3 to get to Port Saunders to visit Aunt Beatrice. Or it could have been Rocky Harbour. When you're 12 or so what your grandparents do doesn't seem so important
