I started to put together pieces of the tree into family groupings, but the main difficulty is getting over the ocean and the sketchy records of early Canada. We set up an ecircle to try and piece together the descendants of an Abel Sheard (possibly one of three brothers of Abel and Eliza Sheard) 1816, 1819 and 1821. Abel appears to have three families amounting to eleven children and many descendants.
