I believe that Emma Shealy is listed in the 1850 census for Carroll County (Delphi) Indiana on page 277. Her husband is not there. I assume he had died. Thomas Shealy
who appears to be her son married in Chicago in 1851 to
Ellen Hanley. They returned to Delphi and remained for about 15 years. In 1869 Ellen died in Chicago. Thomas is listed in the 1870 census with his children. Thomas died in 1898 and is buried in Chicago. My tie is with Ellen Hanley. Her family was in Chicago. E-mail me if you want any further info.
