Patrick SHEEHAN (Patrick did not spell his surname Sheahan as Thomas, Daniel, or sister Catherine did) was born 1820 in Lixnaw, County Kerry, Ireland. The three brothers came to America together through New Orleans in August 1850. Worked there a while, then moved to Logansport, Indiana and worked railroad construction. Patrick eventually moved to Waterloo, Iowa and married Anne McArdle on 5 May 1857. They had nine children.

Daniel Sheahan was born in 1818 also in Lixnaw. His "words" with the local British constabulary caused the three brothers to flee Ireland for America. He married Mary Prendival. He died Oct 1901 in Edington, Illinois. They had one daughter who died in infancy and adopted another daughter.

Catherine Sheahan was born in 1822 and married Paddy Daly in Ireland. They had four children.
