Hello. Obviously, I am researching my family history also.:)To the point...., Although, I haven't came across the names mentioned above, BUT you mentioning Duluth, Minnesota, makes me believe there is a good chance that we are related in someway. I have like 100 2nd cousins, great uncles & aunts & etc, that are from & live in Duluth, and in areas nearby.I am from & live in Texas, I have made several trips up to Duluth but when. I was younger & I would really like to connect with my family up there or anybody I share blood with.
My grandfather is Ellsworth Anthony Shea, aka Pat or Senior. Not exactly sure what our family called him up there.
You mentioned Margaret, b. 1840's, I'm thinking if there is a connection it's with my GGgrandfather, Micheal Emmett Shea, b. About 1853 in Wisconsin & d. 1925 in Hibbing, St. Louis Minnesota. Married Julia King in 1878, in Marquette, Michigan.
I'm thinking maybe your Margaret & Michael, were maybe siblings or atleast cousins, they had to atleast know each other. I have more info and would love to share it with you, if this info seems right co act me and we can collaborate. Thanks
Margaret is a family name, that is used later in my tree.
I haven't been able to confirm this info on John & Julia's Parents.
John Shea, b. About 1827. I have as michael's father, which would be my GGGG. wife of John?
Julia King, My GGG, b. 1864 NY, d. 1914 Michigan.
Her Parents, my GGGG's are Bryan King b. 1838 & Julia O'Connell
B. 1842
Here is a list of Micheal Emmett Shea & Julia King: (list might very slightly)
Charles SHEA, John Stephen SHEA, William Charles SHEA, Mary Elizabeth SHEA, Julia Florence SHEA, Bernard Francis SHEA, Alice Veronica SHEA, Michael Ellsworth SHEA, Daniel Giles SHEA, Frances Clare SHEA, Joseph Birchmans SHEA
