Good Morning, Just this weekend I'd heard of a random Grave Site in the middle of the woods in Mink Brook (Lepreau, Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada) I do not have any 'Shaw' in my lines but couldn't resist the opportunity to see if this was in fact true. Low & Behold it is. Thomas from my understanding was buried on his homestead in 1850 at the age of 71 (there abouts). Which would have him born around 1779. The homestead is now gone, but the tombstone is still beautifully in tact in the middle of the woods - in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around it. Such peaceful surroundings - I felt a little guilty disturbing his silence. I took some pictures of the grave site - Not meaning any disrespect - but thought he most likely belongs to someone... and they may never have opportunity to see his final resting place. I would be willing to share this should anyone find interest. Apparently Thomas was a native of Sanfield, County Down, Ireland according to his stone. yeahtoast@hotmail.com - Bonnie Notify Administrator about this message?
