Deed Book A, p. 529
Know all men by these presents that I Alexr Stevenson of the County of Caldwell and State of Kentucky do this day ordain constitute and appoint Hugh Stevenson of the County and State aforesaid my attorney in fact and by these presents authorise the said Hugh Stevenson to transfer a platt and certificate now lying in the Registers office unto Aner Shaw of the said County and State the said certificate being George Kincaids original two hundred acres granted to him in Christian County Also said Kincaids additional two hundred acres granted to him in Livingston County the same being now transfered to me and the said Hugh Stevenson transfering the said two platts and certificates to the said Aner Shaw shall be as valid and binding on me as if done by myself given under my hand and seal this 7 day of April 1813.

Phelps Clerk to the County Court for said County do certify that the within power of attorney from Alexander Stevenson to Hugh Stevenson was on this day proven to be the act and deed of the said Alexr Stevenson by the oath of Francis Dodds a subscribing witness _______ and ordered to be recorded the same together with this certificate I hereunto set my hand this 10th day of April 1813.
