Think this might be your Joseph B. Shaw? Rev? Month of birth and year of death are correct:

There is a place to request a tombstone picture on both of the above cemetery listings.

There are several people researching the HERREN family. These are from Rootsweb's WorldConnect. Click on the highlighted names for additional informaton.

----------------------------
Go to www.ancestry.com and using the advanced search option enter the name Joseph Berry Shaw, 1848 for birth year, United States and Alabama for state. There is a picture of the couple there and a letter written by Joseph B. Shaw to his son Joseph A. Shaw. Mahala's maiden name is given as Barnett, so that is different from the info on Findagrave and WorldConnect??? I don't have a subscription to Ancestry, but if you would like lookups for the information, here is a lookup site so you can request them.

This is also from Ancestry.com, if you would like a lookup of the exact date of death from the above lookup site:

Alabama Deaths, 1908-59

Name: Joseph Shaw
Death: dd mm 1931 - Talladega
----------------------------
Good luck with your research....Pauline
