1ST EDITION

After 17 years of research of Shaver & Schaber family records it has come time to release the 1st Edition of my Shaver Family Book. I'm taking a couple weeks off work in July to get this done. This 1st Edition will be on CD and contain only text information. I'm simply not going to get into all the "privacy" issues over the 1000s of copies of documents I have acquired from personal research and from the too many to mention relatives that have contributed to this work.
Unfortunately there will be a fee for the CD.
I would love to thank you all personally for your help and support but that would take years to do in itself. Please know that I sincerely appreciate all the time, effort and information you have all provided. THANK YOU ALL.
11 years ago I placed my first Shaver Family posting on GenForum. Little did I know this would become a 2nd home to my genealogical research. I certainly want to give special thanks to GenForum for their support. SPECIAL THANKS TO GENFORUM

The CD will contain family members from present time USA 2009 back to the Schaber families of Sachsenhausen-Wertheim and Unterheinriet, Germany 1665 and also our present day Schaber cousins still living there in Germany. I transcribed the information from the documents myself but then again I'm no expert so bare with me.
I'm first offering the book to family cousins. Please pass on the word. As I said, there will be a fee to cover the cost of CDs, labels, printing and shipping, etc. This was a hard decision since I'm so use to exchanging data freely. I'll make the fee as reasonable as possible.
Now... about your family entries in the book.
So many of you have provided clues and documentation of your personal lineages, however not all the info was verifiable. I recommend that if you want to be certain that your lineage is included in this 1st Edition then contact me to see if you're in my Main Book File. If you're not then I'll suggest what documentation may be needed to get you into it before release in July / August of 2009.
If you're connected to our Shaver family lineage and interested in having a copy of the 1st Edition, please email me to verify you're connected. I will send out emails periodically to those interested to update the status of the release date.
