Ok, good to know where "your" and "mine" were in the same time frames. I too would say they were not the "same"! The Thomas Lee Shaver of Elvira's is the one that, WE in Grayson believe, came to Ashe Co., NC, may have gotten md. there cause I found a Lee Shaver there on a fast visit several yrs. ago and then HE came to Grayson to visit with his brother, my great grandfather Joseph "Joe" Shaver and then on to IN where WE DO know that he got married, had two sons, left them behind with an Aunt of the wife, moved to OK and then to Houston, TX where he got md. again or was md. in OK and they both ended up in Houston. Never been able to get to TX to check out the Shaver line there, and now most of them have died off, we lost contact after several visits way back in the mid 1970's.. Once got Xmas cards from a great granddaughter but I suspect she is gone by now. She lived in LaGrange, TX and had a daughter or granddaughter, married who lived in Southwest Dallas. So I may never get "my" Shaver's done!!!!! Thanks for the reply, good luck to you too!!!!
