has an Asa C. Shaul and Sarah Fetty m. 1846 in Warrick Co.

This looks like the in 1860, except Amy is off.

Boon, Warrick, IN

(Name, age, birthplace)

Asa Shawl 37 Indiana
Sarah Shawl 37 Virginia
Louisa Shawl 12 Indiana
Ama J Shawl 10 Indiana
Monroe Shawl 6 Indiana
Isabel Shawl 3 Indiana
Emmy Shawl 1 Indiana

Your Amy could be "Ama" - 3 years too old, or "Emmy" - 6 years too young. Maybe Amy was off with a relative that day; there is a gap there between Ama and Monroe. Therest of the kids are 2 - 3 years apart.

Louisa looks like the oldest daughter, if the 1846 marriage date is accurate.

I followed my own advice on
http://www.tedpack.org/googleua.html

and found
http://us-gen.org/in/warrick/marriages/sups.htm

which has marriage records. The lines are groom, father, mother, other stuff. (I'm sure you'll look for yourself.) These are three of Asa's kids. They give you three ways to spell Sarah's maiden name.

Shaul, Albert: A. C./ Sarah Hetty, . . .
Shaul, Henry: A. L./ Sarah Fetty, .. .
Shaul, Monroe I.: Asa/ Sarrah Fethie, . . .

(Try to contain your joy.)

has Asa and Sarah, bu no Amy b. 1853, unless she was Monroe's twin.
