Sherman, Texas
SHERMAN --James Frederick Sharrock, 60-year-old Sherman resident, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 24, in Waldo Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Holmes officiating.
Mr. Sharrock was born on Oct. 6, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama, son of James Carl Sharrock and Jean Teuton Sharrock. On May 5, 1961, he married Barbara Neal in Denison.
James graduated from school in Birmingham, Alabama. He served in the Air Force and was currently working for Kwik Set in Denison as a maintenance mechanic.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Sharrock of Sherman, Texas; mother, Jean Teuton of Rio Rancho, N.M.; daughter, Kelle Sirmans and husband, Jesse of Tom Bean, Texas; son, Kenny Sharrock of Denison; daughter, Jolisa Hume of Dallas; sister, Sheila Davis of Bridgeport, Conn.; brother, Bill Davis of Bridgeport, Conn.; grandchildren, Natalie Sirmans, Ashley Sirmans, Mitchell Sharrock and Courtney McGinnis; and great-grandchild, Taylor McGinnis.
James was preceded in death by his father.
There will be no visitation.
