According to the 1850 census of the Oregon Territory, Cornelius (C.) Sharp was a gunsmith, born in New York about 1819. In December of 1853, he was accused and convicted of killing a man in his wife's brothel in Oregon City, and sent to the penitentiary (then in Portland) on 18 Feb 1854. He escaped 22 Dec 1854.

I am looking for any information on his family, parents or siblings.

Thank you
