In the 1750s George Sharp was a neighbor to Robert McGee, James Bane, Wm. Ingles, John Draper, James Preston and others in Augusta County. Does anyone know from where he came before settling in Virginia? My theory is that most of this group came from Pennsylvania, perhaps recruited by Preston. Does anyone have information to either confirm or deny this? How about before North America, do we know from where Mr. Sharp came? Bill
