Lydia SHARP & John VANGILDER

A helpful person pointed me to this link on the Richland County Ohio site:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohrichla/Bible-VanGuilder.htm

"The following information was obtained from an old family Bible found in a hen house. It had been chewed by the rats but the family history page was still very readable. It had been owned by Mrs. R. L. Fidler, now deceased."

John VanGuilder - Born March 1,1788 Married March 28,1811
Lydia Sharp - Born Nov. 4 , 1791

I think that Lydia Sharp may well be a daughter of Peter Sharp (brother of Sarah Sharp VanG) and his wife Judith Townsend, oldest daughter of Daniel Townsend and his wife Lydia Sawin (variant spelling Sawens). Lydia would have been the older sister of John Sharp, Daniel Townsend Sharp, Elijah Townsend Sharp, and Judith Julia Ann Sharp. John VanGuilder was probably their first cousin.

L.P.H.,

Ann Sharp
