My husband's great-grandmother was Mary Sharkey born about May 1861 in Ireland. According to her death certificate her parents were James Sharkey and Margaret Malloy. Mary Sharkey came to the USA about 1884 and married James Wilson, also born in Ireland about 1862. They lived in Philadelphia. James was a teamster and died in August 1909. Mary (Sharkey) Wilson died in November 1931. Mary possibly had a brother named Ted (could he be a Thaddeus?) who also came to the USA. Mary (Sharkey) and James Wilson had ten children--all born in Philadelphia, PA. They were: Margaret (1886), James (1887), Mary, Robert(1891), Peter (1892), Anna (1894), Francis (1897), John (1899), Joseph (1902), and Elizabeth (1904). Would like to compare notes with anyone having any information about these families.
