You are welcome Laurie. This is the other information I got from the following website on NYC Jewish Cemeteries - just click on the site:
http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.jewishgen.org/cemetery/usnycqee.htm+Synagogue+Emanuel+New+York&hl=enhttp://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.jewishgen.org/cemetery/usnycqee.htm+Synagogue+Emanuel+New+York&hl=en
Mount Hebron:
130-04 Horace Harding Expressway, Flushing, NY 11367-1027; 718-939-9405 (Cedar Grove Cemtery Assn); mail to P.O. Box 228, Flushing, NY 11352.
It is located off the Long Island Expressway (US Route 495) near College Point Boulevard.
Office Hrs: M-F 9-11:50, 12:30-4pm; Sunday as well but staffed by part-timers.
Grounds are open 8am-5pm. Staff is extremely helpful.
The Cedar Grove Association is the administrator. The cemetery is quite large and well kept. Mt. Hebron Cemetery was established on the grounds of the nonsectarian Cedar Grove Cemetery, Flushing, NY. It opened in 1909.
I've gone passed Mt. Hebron Cemetery while going to Mt. Judah and Mt. Carmel cemeteries where some of my relatives are buried. They are all in the same area.I wish you luck in your search.
Sincerely,
Clair Stewart Srebnik-Palumbo
