I need help. I am trying to learn all I can about the family of Bessie (Shapiro)Levitt, and her husband Isadlore Levitt. They were both Jewish, from the Ukraine province of Russia. Bessie had a brother named Nathiel, and Isadore had several siblings:Issac, Max(maybe Joel?)2 sisters, one beign Rose (Levitt)Korfield, last known to be living in NY.
Bessie was about 9 when she was smuggled out of Russia. She traveled to USA with her mother, and younger brother Nathaniel. Her dad was already in Boston Ma, may have been working delivering milk/grocerices? This was about 1906-1907 that Bessie emigrated.
Isadore Levitt was 17 when he came to Boston. He lived in Boston with his brother Max.
Bessie was fromNyita(near Zvil)in province of Ukraine.
Isadore, also from Ukraine in city of Uman.
I wonder if besides the siblings mentioned and Bessie and Isadore Levitt's daughter Nasha(?) if their may be other family members out there. Perhaps children/grandchildren of Max, Issac, etc.
I knew Bessie many years ago, met Isadore once and I thought they were wonderful people. I know they are both deceased now. Where are they buried? When did they died(exactly).
Thank you to anyone who may be able to expand on the little I know, which I just learned recently.
