I am seeking information on the parents of Joseph W. Shannon who was born in Texas about 1876. I found him listed as a 4yr. old in Tarrant Co., Johnson Station, Texas on the 1880 census. He was listed as a nephew of Fredrick Anderson. I know that he married Lela E. Owen abt. 1898. Lela was b:abt. 1879 in Texas. I found him in the 1900 census with Lela and a daughter, Maudie in Pct. 4, Lamar, Texas, John Shannon b: Tx., b: May 1883 and Jackson Shannon b: Tx., Feb. 1885. They were listed as brothers of Joe W. Shannon. I found Leler E. Shannon in Pct. 3, Lamar, Tx. listed as a widow in 1910. With her then was Mamie, 1899 (Maudie?), Herbert, 1912 and Maybel 1917, all born Texas. In 1920, I found Bennett, 1901 and Herbert, 1903 Shannon b: Texas. They were listed with Lulu Cox (grandmother) and her daughter, Belle Cox. They were in Pct. 4, Erath, Texas - Lela was not there. With all of this information, I still can't find Joe's parents or where he died. Help please
