Yes, my Father was Drew Shankle. He had 3 brothers and one sister. Drew was the oldest, then Nina Jo, Benton, Fletcher and Hugh.
Benton was killed in a car-train wreck in West Point, Miss.
Nina jo married Lester Van Zant and lived in St. Joseph, Mo until her death. She had one son. My Father, Drew died at age 50 from a sudden heart attack. Fletcher dropped dead from a sudden heart attack. Hugh is still living about age 87 in Baton Rouge, La. Grandmother Shankle lived to be about 95 years.
