Hi, I'm new to this but my grandfather was a Thomas Benton Shankle who was married for a short time to Talma Florene (Rene) Cole. They had a son who is also named Thomas Benton Shankle (my father). My grandfather had two brothers that I know about Hugh and Drew Shankle. There may be more. I believe my grandfather was killed in some kind of train accident. I only have one picture of him in front of a store in Meridian, MS. I was just wondering if there was some tie to your Thomas B. Shankle.
