John N. Shankle, b. abt. 1845 in Tenn. married Margaret Morris August 17, 1862 in Johnson County, Illinois. Margaret was the daughter of Rev. Carrol Morris. In 1870 the John N. Shankle family is living in Johnson County, Illinois, in 1880 they are in Weakley County, Tenn. and in 1900 in Graves County, Kentucky. They had children, Sarah, William J., Melissa, James R., Boyd and Mary J. I would like to learn more about this family especially when John and Margaret died and where they are buried. I would like to communicate with anyone from this family and I can share Morris information.
