Nancy Selena Shankle was born February 1844 and died (unknown) in Hamblen County, TN, she married Dr.
Alvin M. Feathers May 14, 1868. She was the youngest of eight children born to George Shankle and Sarah Lucy Hunt. George's parents were Adam Shankle and Christiana Stoffel. She was sister of my Great Grandfather, Adam Leonidas Shankle. Granville Henderson Shankle, who married Mary (Polly) Miller, was the second child born to George and Lucy. Granville and Polly had 7 children, among them a son, George born in 1841 and Nancy L. born April 1846. Could this be your Nancy?
