I have more info on John. He is my ggg uncle. His brother George is my great great grandfather. William Perry Shankle (married to Luvica Aldridge) is my great grandfather. George Eli Shankle (married to Fannie Moore also Indian) was my grandfather. John and George moved from Tennessee to Alabama in the early 1800's. John Married Clarissa Procter in 1834 in Maynard's Cove, Jackson Co., Alabama and George married Elizabeth Holland around 1824 in Alabama.
