I came across your Shaner obituaries earlier this evening. Thank you very much for collecting these and making them available on your "Janis' Genealogy Site." I am descended from Melchoir Schoener, through Christophel, then William, then Jacob, then George Washington Shaner (1930-1924), then his daughter Sarah Emma Shaner Kupp (my great-grandmother)...

You gave me a good deal of information I hadn't had before. Thank you again.
