My Great Grandmother Margaret Ann Shanahan Cumero was born, along with her 7 siblings in County Clare. Parish of Kilmurry-Ibrickane, Diocese of Killaloe. Here is the birth order and what birth dates I have:

Mary b. ?
Ellen b. March 1877
John b. May 1879
Margaret Ann (my Grt.Grandmother) July 22, 1881
Andrew b. Aug. 1882
James b. July 1883
Cornelius b. Sept 1884
Elizabeth (Lizzie) b. ?
Kate b. ?

Their parents were Patrick Shanahan b? died before 1905 in Hot Springs, Ark. and Kate (Mungavin) Shanahan. The family most likely immigrated to Hot Springs, Ark. between 1891-1893. Apparently we have some intermarrying going on here, but Kate's maiden name is not completely verified yet. Patrick's mother Bridget (maiden name Mungavin) Shanahan stayed in Ireland and lived in the Quilty post office: Tromoreo, Kilmorie, Ibrickon, County Clare with John Daly and possibly her daughter Maggie McMahon (Maggie may have been widowed). I got this information from the will of her brother James Mungavin. Other relatives that were "snubbed" in his will lived in New York City and Niagra Falls. They were given $1. Anyone who thinks there is a link, please email me. I'm glad to share what little information I have and to accept any information anyone else might have.
