Hi Anne,

My Great-Grandfather, Timothy Shanahan, born approx. 1846, immigrated to the U.S. and settled in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and married my Great-Grandmother widow Elizabeth (nee Brickley) Ryan in August 1870. They are found in the 1880 Census of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Both were born in Ireland and we do not know from what county they came from or the ship they came to the U.S. on. That is the mystery to us. Do you suppose my Timothy Shanahan is the same as you mention??

Thanks, Don
