Edward Shanahan on Dec. 10, 1939, son of Mary Shanahan (nee Mulcahy), beloved husband of May Shanahan, devoted father of Josephine Thomsen and Edward, brother of Mae Blakeman and Josephine Donovan. Funeral Thursday, from Charles A. Traynor Funeral Home, 131 Morningside Ave. Mass at Corpus Christi Church, 10 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetary.
I am no relation. This is from the New York Journal and American newspaper from Dec. 14, 1939 found in my attic.
