I am a descendant of Catherine Shamberger and her husband Thomas Owen Carpenter through their son Temple Carpenter. Catherine S. was born about 1738 reputedly in Moore County, NC. Her husband was born in 1741, again we think, in Moore County, and was killed by a British soldier during the Revolution in 1784. I am looking for Catherine's parents. Do you have any information that includes these names. If so let me know.
