Belinda: I am excited to know of Georg Heinrich arrival data. I pick them up with his son Peter b. 1750 d. 1817. He is the father of my gg-grandfather William b. 5-19-1786 d. 7-28-1830. William and several other family members came to Ala @1812. William settled in Wilcox county. The cemetery is still there with 3 markers, his, a son, and wife. I have my grandfathers diaries 1886 to 1916. He makes reference to other Shamburger families in Choctaw County, al and clarke county, al and some around Cuba, al and Meridian, Miss.
I am interested in knowing which of Peter's children you descind from.
Really hope you can find out who Georg was married to. He may have brought her with him.
Again thanks for the info and i'll be watching for other responses.
