My Dad got me started looking into our geneology and now I can't stop...lol. We know that our original Ancestor who came over from Germany was Georg Heinrich Shamberger. The name Shamburger is a variation of this name. Georg arrived in Phillidelphia Sept. 24, 1737. The ship he arrived on was the Virtous (Vertous) Grace. He settled in Moore Co. North Carolina. I am trying to find more information as to where he is buried, whom he married, Ect. Can anyone help. I would greatly appreciate it.
