A lady in this line, Sandra Rockey Shamburger has written a book on it, "The Schamberger/Shamburger Family 1678-1920".
It goes back to Johann b. abt 1652 in Dresden, Germany. You should be able to get a copy or copies thru inter-library loans. I know of several libraries in Texas who have a copy, including Houston.
