Do you know the rest of the children of William Shaddix b. about 1775 (other than his namesake William)?
I'm a descendant of Frances Emily Rebecca Shaddix (not sure how many of those names are right) b. about 1829 in GA m. John Yates 1850 in Tallapoosa, AL. I know (from other peoples' trees) that there was a Frances about that age that was a daughter of John Shaddix & Nancy Clayton, but she's typically given a middle initial "M." [if you can tell me that's not right and she's likely that Frances, I'd be thrilled]. I have also seen that there was a Frances Shaddix about the right age who was a descendant of James Shaddix (through son Robert if I recall), who married Miles T. Webb in Coweta, GA and moved with him and family to Arkansas.
I'm curious if William also had a daughter Frances & if any of his children made it to the Tallapoosa, AL area with the rest of the cousins. My Yates family intermarried w/ the Clayton line that the Shaddixes ran with also.
If you have any info on William Shaddix brother of James & John (I think?) b. about 1775, I'd greatly appreciate it.
